For small areas, UAVMAP can provide ortho-imagery and digital elevation models at a much lower rate than traditional methods such as aircraft based or satellite aerial photography.

As an example, a recent use of a Swinglet CAM saw it create digital elevation models for roadworks volumes in 2 days. In the past the same survey took 5 surveyors a week. Additionaly the Swinglet CAM provided greater accuracy in the final result, plus the added benefit of an aerial image.
